About Dr. Eickmeier

Kimberly Eickmeier, DPM, FACFAS, is a podiatrist at Cortese Foot & Ankle Clinic serving the Bloomington-Normal, IL area.

Dr. Eickmeier earned her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at Illinois State University in Normal, IL. She went on to receive her doctoral degree from the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. Afterward, she completed a three-year residency program at Botsford General Hospital, an affiliate of Michigan State University, in Farmington Hills, Michigan

She is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Society of Podiatric Surgeons, American Professional Wound Care Association, and the National Academies of Practice. 

In her professional career, she served as the Adjunct Clinical Instructor at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Urbana- Champaign as well as a part of the Research Committee. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for the International Society for Musculoskeletal Shockwave Therapy. She has previously served as the President of the American Association for Women Podiatrists. 

Dr. Eickmeier has two children, Kassandra and Kolten. In her free time she enjoys reading and traveling.
